Emilio specializes in storytelling photography and is concerned with using photography as visual communication. He has taught photography since 2002 for such organizations as The Academy of Art University, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Contemporary Jewish Museum, the San Jose Museum of Art, the University of Hawaii and through Black Boots Ink.

The Streets of San Francisco - It's the people we pass on the street that can affect our lives as easily as we can affect theirs. Our challenge is to slow down, reconnect with people and our environment, and make photographs that move beyond the stereotypes about your community and present your own visual narratives.
